Offer to participate in the Design Festival show was made to us in the beginning of the summer, while we were busy preparing our autumn and spring collection. About a month before the event we started to write down ideas and collect materials for the mood board. We knew we won’t have a full line of clothing ready for this time, and to be honest, we didn’t see a point of producing for one event only, considering the fact that fashion shows are a brave enterprise for a starting company by the fault in terms of all the costs and benefits.
We decided to show the most important sides of us in some other ways chosen, like through only one item. Whats thought that’s done! We took our old dress pattern, enlarged and distorted it in many ways, to fit as trousers, dresses, hats and blouses. Multiple wearability has been one of our main goals through the process of design, which is why we wanted to feature it to the Design Festival show as well. In the end, we were happy to be involved and got a great experience out of it.
